I know this is a hard core statement, but I need to say it… The more I study the Bible the more I am convinced that all movies (whatever rated) are in a way just a retelling of Bible history.  For those into romance you have the book of Ruth and Issac & Rebekah.  If you like action, well then David’s life or Samson might be for you!  Others who love the gore stuff will find there way into Revelation and especially Leviticus with bloody lobes flying everywhere as animal sacrifice was quite the bloody mess.  And to top it off there is adult material, PORN, that is from start to finish… For this blog I point to the book of Lamentations where the Hebrew prophet Jeremiah is lamenting the destruction of Babylon at the hands of the Babylonians, and then in the first chapter we are given this analogy of the once glorious city of David, Jerusalem.

Chapter 1

9 Her uncleanness is in her skirts;
She did not consider her destiny;
Therefore her collapse was awesome;
She had no comforter.

“ O LORD, behold my affliction,
For the enemy is exalted!”
10 The adversary has spread his hand
Over all her pleasant things;
For she has seen the nations enter her sanctuary,

Now I don’t need to spell out all of the imagery here, but please allow me to share this.  My wifes sexual organ is pictured as a sanctuary in this imagery.  That means it is to be something special and holy (separated for me!)  Jerusalem was to be for the people of God, a Holy people, yet it was invaded and trampled by foreigners.  Jeremiah sees the city like a harlot, a prostitute.

The details are pretty intense…  The city was touched in the private, when it should have been a place of worship.  This brings me to a exciting point.  Christian marriage and intimacy should be a place of worship to our Lord, in glorifying his relationship with his bride, the CHURCH.

Remember Jeremiah is Lamenting…  There is no satisfaction in your sanctuary being touched!  Keep the area sacred!

This is the message of the Bible in a nutshell. Why do we exchange what is most pleasurable for what is not? This has been done to those that perform in the porn industry and for those that watch it. I find that many that are wanting to get out of the bondage of porn try amputating everything out of their lives (which is good), by not stare at a “good looking” women (or man) when walking or driving, or putting a filter on the computer, or it could be getting rid of the cable box that has caused repetitive stumbling. Now as I have said, this is good and a must, no doubt. But I would like to make a addendum to it if I may. Those of us who have been in this bondage have to have a heart change to remain in a continual place of purity. All the amputation in the world can happen yet lust will still be at the door of your brain, if there is not a change of heart. We have sought worthlessness as pleasure, and to no avail! It has not worked. So let’s do this…Matthew 7:7, Jesus tells us to ask, seek and knock. So let’s ask for a new heart, one that see’s Jesus as more pleasurable than porn, so much so that we like king David in Psalm 27 can say One thing I have desired! What was that one thing? He says, “To behold the beauty of the LORD!”
Oh, how awesome this is. Though King David no doubt had beautiful women at one time in his life around him, he learned through a heart transplant that the Lord was so much more pleasurable.
Our prayer at Running Light Ministries is that we would not only run light, by removing the heavy burden of porn in your life, but by seeking the gift of a heart transplant that see’s God in His splendor, as more pleasurable than anything!

There is nothing pleasurable about the porn industry, it is a illusion. Don’t be deceived!

After watching a clip from the Aultrailiam Sex Party my heart was deeply burdended.  I hope you are as well.  Linking sexual preference with race as equality issues is not good reasoning.  I’ll take this reasoning to some foolish conclusion…

Some people like to murder, it’s there preference in dealing with situations…they like it!  But let’s not make a law saying that it is ok to do because it’s good for equallity (I mean they can have there fun too..right?)

Race (a misunderstood word), or better people groups, are born people groups.  Wanting to get married to the same sex and have a “family” is something you choose.  Only technology today makes this option available and presentable.  You can’t have kids no matter how many times you try in homosexual relationships.  We live in a day where having children in unatural relations is possible, but that does not mean that is is correct.  You might have a family, but it is a synthetic family interestingly.  This use in technology is re-defining marriage and family.  Owell and Huxley were on to something in 1984 and Brave New World.

Maybe they should call it another name in the law books as to throwout the argument politically?!  Instead of same sex marriage, let’s not call it marriage, but call it something different as to not re-define, but to define.  And instead of family, let’s call it a synthetic family or saccharin family’s.  Something created not naturally, but through tampering.  It would be less of a political hot topic if looked at it in this different way, in my opinion,with laws corresponding to these different ways to live.  But if this is not the real goal of the sexual party and they want to be like “us” by re-defining family and marriage then let the battle continue…because it will.

I found this description of how Eskimo’s deal with the danger of wolves to be a picture of sin in our lives.  No one wakes up in the morning and desires to be a porn head.  But with one look at a time, or one chat at a time, danger becomes imminent.  Read over this and think about it.  The quote is taken from bac2torah.com by R’ Richard Pustelniak.

Sin will try to convince one that all that is desired is a small area of the map, and the rest will be left alone. But, it will not be satisfied until the whole map is consumed:
